Artists Profile

Born and raised on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Tasmania may seem an odd choice to call home. The contrasting climate and environment still provide exhilerating moments and inspiration to draw my artwork from, but this does no negate my roots, as I visit my Queensland home as often as possible. Change, it seems, is the drive to create, while revisiting the old with refreshed eyes is the motivation.

Currently I am working on my Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking. My working title has shifted a little, but at the moment it looks like this... Revealing Scars: Expressing Emotional and Physical Trauma. All is not dark though, despite the title! My gallery reflects the broad nature of my research, as well as the work I do outside the confines of research.
